VEG ER For Pets

I have never previously needed to visit an emergency veterinary clinic, so I was highly anxious and uncertain about what to expect. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful, explaining everything clearly and keeping me informed throughout. They made both my cat and me feel at ease, which I really appreciated. I was especially grateful to stay with my cat throughout the entire process, offering comfort and reassurance. They offered me a comfortable place to wait, but since I manage a coffee shop, I had to leave him overnight. Seeing the staff attend to multiple animals with such care gave me confidence in leaving my pet in their hands. While I can’t fault the staff, I must mention that the costs were quite high. The compassion and care were amazing, right away we were triaged and got taken right to the oxygen box for support. Dr. Tan recognized right away my cat wasn’t doing well. Even though there were 3 critical cases that came in while we were there and the staff still took time to talk with us, check in and make sure we were ok. We got horrible news but Dr. Yani Tan and the two nurses we worked with supported us, gave us options and walked us through end of life care for our cat. They gave us information on comfort care and made sure we went home with supportive care and knew what our next steps were. Highly recommend.

It never feels good to take your pet to an emergency clinic but if you have to, I would highly recommend the veterinarian emergency group. They were amazingly awesome. They were absolutely crushed with people bringing in their pets, but they remained professional, regardless of the chaos and even though it took me nearly 2 hours to get through they treated my pet with awesome respect and they fully explained everything to me. I was very impressed given the severity of some of the cases that they had how kind they were. I would highly recommend them, especially if you need to see somebody on a short notice or your own vet doesn’t have appointments. Five stars.

VEG has our hearts. Dr. Chandra honestly means the world to Tilt, Jake, and I (Sami). The staff taking care of Tilt made everything so much more comforting. They treated him like he was the most important thing all the while treating their other patients the same. I cannot say enough about VEG. They are truly the most amazing people I have ever met. Thinking about the wonderful treatment our family received from you makes me tear up. You saved out little baby and I cannot thank you and everyone enough. You made something awful so much more bearable. Thank you Dr. Chandra and the wonderful staff who took care of our whole world.

We had to bring our dog, Ozzy, in late on a Friday night because he was coughing and vomiting repeatedly, and it quickly became very concerning. At first, we were worried he may have eaten something he shouldn’t have and had a blockage. The team was incredibly responsive and got him in right away for X-rays and blood work. While the X-ray results were inconclusive, the staff walked us through our options and recommended keeping him overnight on fluids to see if he could pass whatever might be causing the issue. The next day they decided to treat him for kennel cough as a precaution (even though he didn’t have a fever or known exposure- to our knowledge). The treatment worked flawlessly and within a couple hours he was feeling so much better and we were able to take him home. From the mom
