I’m so thankful this place exists and that there are people who love what they do here. We had an unexpected emergency today while I was dog sitting my daughter’s weiner dog Paquita. She got into a bad of Ghirardelli chocolate chips. Poison to dogs. We were in another state far from home in a small town. We drove 25 minutes to the closets vet ER. We were first in and then four more pets with emergencies followed. The staff greeted us and everyone after so graciously and comforting. They offered us snacks and drinks. Gave my pet a warm towel. Treatment was prompt and she is doing well. Luckily we got her there quickly they induced vomit and she expelled everything including what a staff member called “bones” that were actually French fries she also got into (oy vey don’t ask 🥴). I’d first like to say that this emergency vet is phenomenal. On October 11th 2025 we had an emergency with one of dogs while on a family trip in the Wisconsin dells. The emergency occurred late at night around 9pm and left us with minimal options for an emergency vet. We had to drive a little over and hour to get there from the Wisconsin dells. We called them prior to our arrival and they gave us clear directions on what to do. When we arrived at the vet with our dog we were immediately assisted by the super friendly staff members. Another amazing feature is the ability to stay with our dog for every step of the way due to the open concept of the clinic. This helped keep my wife and I calm and I really think it eased my dogs nerves as he stayed with us the entire time! They were ve

Truly the best team of caregivers I’ve ever met (for humans or animals!). My Boston had an obstruction, and we traveled 3.5 hours in the middle of the night to get her there. I’m so thankful I chose them - they answered my questions over the phone with kindness prior to coming in, were prepared to see her when we arrived, and treated her with the highest amount of care and expertise. We were there for the better part of 48 hours, which included emergency surgery. They have rooms where you can be with your dog/cat and wait while treatment is completed. They were very transparent throughout the process, and allowed me to be with my pup through every step outside of the OR (they did invite me to watch from the window outside). I was very concerned she would not make it through the surgery bas

Last week was a scary week for our family.. Our 10-year-old lab, Digger, needed emergency intestinal surgery after ingesting four pairs of underwear (yes… FOUR 😭). I, along with my family want to publicly thank the incredible team at VEG for the way you cared for Digger, and for the way you cared for me and my family through it all. From my endless tears and heartbreak to every decision and “what happens next,” you walked me through step-by-step with patience, compassion, and true professionalism. With his age and a very difficult healing process, we’ve had countless visits and still have ongoing ones… and not once did you make me feel like I was being “too much” or overdramatic. You understood that Digger is family, and you treated him like he was your family too. And as you can see by

I cannot say enough good things about this place. For one, everyone was so kind, empathetic, understanding, and responsive during an extremely stressful time. Additionally, the fact that you can be with your pet the whole time is an absolute game changer in managing stress. I have been to pet hospitals previously where they take your animal in the back and you are not a part of their care at all. As a result, the pet is more stressed and so are you. Not here, I was invited to be next to my pet every step of the way. I was able to hold her and comfort her myself which helped both of us. The people, the level and standard of care, the facilities are truly unmatched to any of my previous experiences at emergency vets. I am so grateful to them. While I hope I don’t have to go back any time soo
