I would highly recommend VEG for your pets emergency care. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, professional, supportive, and caring. The ability to stay with our pet during the entirety of his care was phenomenal. The cost is reasonable as well. Buddy, our senior Chihuahua, had respiratory distress and cardiac issues. VEG was recommended by the local pet urgent care, who had conferred with VEG when Buddy's needs exceeded their abilities. We opted to take him home first because he seems to stabilize. When his condition worsened, we took him to VEG. We called while en route and they were ready for us when we arrived. We had a feeling that this was Buddy's last fight and were afraid he would be alone. However, VEG is an open care facility. Buddy needed to be in the O2 kennel for

No pet parent wants to take their baby to the emergency room. Unfortunately it happens, that’s life, and it’s stressful. The care team made the stress and anxiety of the day so much easier to endure. From the time we arrived to the time we left, EVERYONE was so kind and attentive. We were greeted by Albany, who was a rockstar at check in and was so kind; and her calmness and kindness warmth definitely calmed me down as a nervous mommy. She checked in regularly, offering snacks and beverages and keeping us posted on the wait time (our total wait time was about 4 hours, but to be honest I am very understanding - it’s urgent/emergency care… anyone who expects to be seen right away is crazy). Then Grace was the tech who took care of my boy and got all his vitals. She also could see I was so

It’s taken me some time to write this review, because every time I try to sit down and put these words together, I find myself overwhelmed with emotion. Saying goodbye to our beloved cat, Granny, was one of the hardest moments of our lives, and the compassion and kindness shown to us by the entire VEG team meant more than I can possibly express. Granny was the sweetest, most gentle soul, and from the moment we arrived, she was treated with nothing but grace, dignity, and love until the very end. This was also my significant other’s first experience having to say goodbye to a pet, and the team at VEG truly made an incredibly painful situation the best it could possibly be. That is something we will never forget. Dr. Taylor was so patient, informative, and thoughtful, helping both of us un

Our boy got really sick with bloody diarrhea and wasn’t eating for almost 6 days when we moved to a new apartment right during Thanksgiving week 2025. We ended up at VEG ER for nearly 3 days and got to go home on Thanksgiving afternoon. We stayed with our yorkie boy the entire time and they took the best care of all 3 of us. It was expensive, but any emergency vet is, and at least the quality of care was worth what we paid here. Plus, we did not want to leave him anywhere. They have rooms you can stay and sleep with your fur baby and that was priceless for us.

They very quickly greeted me and my pup with kindness and compassion. I was able to be with my pup the entire time. Considering they were pretty busy and there were many other pets, they were quick to assess and help my pup. Definitely recommend if your pet needs immediate care.
