VCA White Oak Animal Hospital

Lucy has been going to White Oak Training Center for 4 years, attending the Walk and Train program once or twice a week. She was a 2 year old rescue with little socialization and no leash training. When Lucy first came to us, my husband and I enrolled all of us in the basic manners class. It was the best thing I could have done with her. Since then, her weekly visits serve to expose her to different people and dogs, defrag her energy and reinforce her manners. She knows the staff and always tries to get Whitney or Pam to let her work at the front desk. She idolizes Paula, the head trainer and considers everyone to be her best friend. I highly recommend this team and the programs at White Oak Training!

Every single time you call, they put you on hold right away for 10 to 25mn. If you have a script waiting for your dog, you come pick it up, you have to put your name on the register and wait for again 10 to 15mn. They are slow and waiting is the brand of the place. The client is NOT the priority. Finishing the task on the computer and not being distracted by a client waiting on line is the priority. I've seen them with my own eyes while waiting for 15mn for a ready script. They literally don't care about you waiting because waiting is the normal at this place.

The great staff here worked my rescue kitty with extensive eye damage in, surgically repaired what could be repaired, and treated the concurrent infection. They explained his after care thoroughly, and called to check up on him. The staff at check in, and pick up (especially Kathy) were calm, kind, and caring for both me and my kitty. The doctors who examined him and performed the surgery explained the options before surgery, and explained what was done during and after the surgery were excellent.

Great care and detail taking care of our dog and 3 cats. Came in recently for a dental procedure with my cat and the team took great care of her. I highly recommend this practice! Thank you Chris for the extra time and care and answering all my detailed questions. I love how down to earth you were and straightforward!
