Calypso Kennels

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Calypso Kennels. They cared for our three dogs for 10 nights while we were out of the country, which happened to fall during the big snow/ice storm that recently hit the area. I truly can’t say enough good things! This was my first time ever leaving our dogs at a kennel overnight, and I was a nervous wreck. Their team was so kind, communicative, and reassuring. I so appreciated the email and text updates, which made being away so much easier and gave me real peace of mind knowing our pups were safe, warm, and well cared for. My husband and I took our 2 dogs here while we went out of town for thanksgiving weekend. I have attached a photo of both of them before we dropped them off and after we picked them up. We came back a day early and arrived at 4 pm to pick them up, when we had arrived we were told that there was a “small incident” that had occurred with one of our dogs while she was getting her nails trimmed and that she was just “being dramatic”. We did not think anything more of it at the moment and took our dogs to the car. when we turned around and looked at them our dogs eyes were completely bloodshot, bruised, and swollen. Calypso kennels has been such a wonderful find for a helicopter dog mom like me. I am able to call and check on Jesse daily and love seeing photos of him on their Facebook page. As a veterinarian, I also greatly appreciate their attention to possible allergies, dietary restrictions, and the overall health of the pets in their care.

The staff was outstanding. My youngest dog had never been boarded and was stressed. The staff kept me informed of her status and work with her to reduce her stress level.

Absolutely fantastic! The pet information they ask for is reassuring and the joy in my pet was genuine. That's the true test because our fur babies can't lie.
