I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share the exceptional experience I’ve had with Garden State Veterinary Hospital in caring for my sweet dog, Oprah as she has battled a long term chronic illness. From day one, the entire team has been nothing short of extraordinary. The doctors are incredibly skilled and compassionate, and every member of the staff I've worked with consistently goes above and beyond, whether I’m calling with questions or visiting in person. I want to give special thanks to Dr. Amy and Rachel Sclarsky, as well as vet tech Alyssa Montanya. Their expertise, kindness, and unwavering dedication have made an enormous difference in Oprah's care and comfort. PLEASE be careful taking your pet here! They used to be excellent but over the years became all about money with no concern for animals. I was with them for YEARS. Yet, they changed hands. When they made a deadly medication error that I LUCKILY caught before they killed my dog, there was zero apology or regret, despite many trips to the ER, my poor angel died. Mistakes happen. Even big mistakes. What is not okay their blaming the victim and refusing any responsibility, as well as my late dog’s vet directly attacking me over text as I grieved. They are monsters.

I recently took my Shih Tzu, Pogo, to see Dr. Morgan, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care she provided. She was incredibly thorough, kind, and patient in explaining everything after doing X-rays of his chest and throat. It was such a relief to learn that his lungs and heart looked good, and Dr. Morgan made sure I understood every detail. It’s clear she truly cares about her patients and their owners. I left feeling reassured and confident that my dog was in excellent hands. Highly recommend Dr. Morgan and the entire team for anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable veterinary care! 🐾 ⸻

My experience at this vet hospital was horrible, and I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and completely unwelcome. I arrived about 10 minutes late due to being 8 months pregnant with swollen ankles, navigating traffic (25 min drive in holiday traffic), and carrying a 70-lb dog—yet before I even entered the building, I received a voicemail threatening to void my free visit because of the delay. When I walked in, things only got worse. The vet tech’s tone was nasty, offensive, and passive-aggressive. She insisted the visit wasn’t free unless I provided a coupon, even though the appointment was booked as a free visit through their own website. Our dog is almost 6 and has moved with us through three different states, so we’ve been to our fair share of vets. VCA Cherry Hill has been the absolute best experience we’ve had. The staff is so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. We came in for annual vaccines and an exam, and we’ll definitely be returning—so happy to have found this place!
