VCA Delta Oaks Animal Hospital

We have been going to this vet for over 25 years. But we will NOT be going back. I had noticed over the last couple of years that their prices had been going way up but because we had always been happy with going there we continued to bring our dog there. The last time I went there to pick up some flea medicine just like I have done many times the receptionist was so incredibly rude to me I actually almost couldn’t believe that I was just treated that way. She scolded me for not calling a couple days ahead of time so that they could have it ready. I have always just stopped by and picked them up in the past. I had never called first nor was I ever told that I needed to. I apologized and said that I just didn’t know that they wanted me to do that. She proceeded to tell me that signs are

Very thankful for everyone that works here. Never have had anything close to a bad experience. Staff is always beyond friendly, extremely welcoming to me and my pups. Even my stubborn husky! They make us all feel very loved when we come in, also, my dogs get extremely excited when we pull up to the vet.. if that’s not a good sign I’m not sure what is!

I have worked with all of the doctors here at some point and I am so appreciative for Dr. Garretson. She is so helpful and informative and truly wants the best for my animals. A lot of medical/veterinary people speak and don’t realize that those of us without their expertise don’t know what they are talking about. Dr. Garretson always explains in (human words) as I call them and really wants you to feel comfortable with your treatment. She’s never pushy and always so kind. My dog isn’t a fan of most but he seems to be just as pleased with her as I am. I also love the follow up after the appointment by office staff to answer any remaining questions. It’s not the most affordable option for veterinary care but I keep coming back solely due to Dr. Garretsons care.

I can not thank this clinic enough for taking THE BEST care of our fur babies. We had a bad experience at our previous vet office, so we were hesitant and a little anxious to switch to a new clinic. When we switched to VCA Delta Oaks, we Immediately felt safe to trust them with our pets care. They don't treat us like a number, they treat us like family. If any of our pets have an urgent issue, they work hard to try get us in right away. Highly recommend everyone there- even the front desk staff are AMAZING!! Thank you guys for being the best vet care we have EVER received. You guys are a treasure! ❤️❤️❤️

I trust this clinic with all my heart and appreciate all the receptionist, tech, assistants and vets who work here. My 13 year old Great Dane has gone here since she was a puppy and we typically see Dr. Arthur Lahm, but I have also had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. James Schulke for one of my cats’ spay appointments. As someone who owns a cat who is TERRIFIED at the vet I appreciate the really quiet lobby and compassionate love and care every one of my animals have received here. It’s definitely on the pricier end and I can’t always afford to do everything for them here but it’s always worth the price. I like VCA in general for having an app I can use that has access to all my pets records and information
