Customer Reviews
Training Spot is amazing! I have a dog who barked at everything on walks. Annette taught me that this behavior was out of fear, not aggression. We worked together for 4 private sessions, and my dog has improved significantly. I feel like I now have the tools to continue to work with him to gain his confidence. I highly recommend this place.
They were great with Milton. With some tips and training. Milton started walking better with other dogs and people around.
The Training Spot structures their classes in a way I hadn't seen before. It has been super helpful for my dog to learn to to calm down. We've only gone through the first series of classes and she already is getting better at calming down around people she would normally be all over. And Lauren is a wonderful trainer, fun and relatable which is a hard thing to come by sometimes in dog trainers.
Annette at Training Spot gave us hope! Oscar and I have come a long way under her guidance. Oscar struggles with reactivity, especially with new people. Annette has coached us with how to meet new people and handle new things. His confidence is so much better now. Our journey isn’t over yet, but I have a very different, happier dog than I started with. Thank you to Annette and the team at Training Spot.
I took four different classes here. Puppy classes were great! I love that they believe in positive reinforcement training since my first puppy class elsewhere was from a teacher who thought it was ok to use pain as a deterrent (shameful!). When my dog started experiencing pretty intense reactivity their guidance in their specialized class helped me a lot. My partner wanted to get rid of our dog and I’m grateful to say I ditched the partner and kept working with my beloved Neptune. He still has triggers but rarely has reactive episodes these days and he’s way more affectionate, comfortable, and happy since training really enforced healthy boundaries and a strong bond. People constantly remark that he’s one of the most respectful and attentive dogs they’ve ever met, and even people I know wh
