My baby boy decided to treat himself to a stinky sock for an after puppy school snack. Per my regular vet’s recommendation, I brought him in to have the sock… returned. The staff were so caring and patient with my boy. He has some reactivity issues with new people and definitely does not appreciate the poking and prodding required for a proper vet visit. I appreciate their willingness to work with his challenges. There was a moment I was worried they weren’t going to be able to treat him while he was awake but they were so patient and definitely pulled out all the stops to make him more comfortable. The sock was successfully retrieved and my boy is home resting. I highly recommend.

I am in tears thinking about this animal hospital and the love and concern we felt from each and every staff member there. My cat was suddenly in acute respiratory distress and so I called them in advance to let them know I was on the way. As soon as I got there, they took the cat from me and immediately helped him. They communicated quickly and effectively with my home vet who couldn’t see me that quickly. One of the technicians, John, was so sweet and attentive to my kitty cat. Dr. Jenn was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and sensitive. We ultimately lost our cat due to heart failure. The night staff who were on when he died were so compassionate and kind. They let me stay with the cat as long as I wanted well into the night. I don’t know why I hesitated to come to this office in the

They left my dog's IV in today. After being referred here by another vet for my dog's seizures, we left with no answers and no treatment plan other than to go somewhere else. We also asked for medication for my dog's ear infection, which the Dr. forgot about. This is not what I have a problem with. What I am furious about is that they left the IV in my dog's arm, not once mentioning it was still in there. Her arm wasn't shaved, so the tape ripped out her fur no matter how carefully we took it off. This is a very disgusting treatment of an animal you are supposed to care for. Leaving an IV inside of a patient is dangerous and lazy. You can't even say it was out of convenience for a future veterinarian to use, as they don't. You wouldn't send a human home with their IV still in. Why is it ok

Our fur-babies have been going to Deer Creek Animal Hospital for over 20 years. Their caring staff has been there for us during the good times and the sad times. Dr. Lupe takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. He truly cares about his patients and their parents. Thank you Deer Creek! ❤️🐾

Deer creek accommodated my ferret Boots euthanasia on short notice. The receptionist was incredibly compassionate and had the most comforting exam room ready for us when we arrived. They listened to our wishes of euthanasia method, making it most peaceful for Boots and us. I was grieving and had high anxiety anticipating the worst, but my worries were completely unfounded. Her ashes were delivered with dignity and a short while later we received a genuine sympathy card with ink paw and nose prints. I am extremely grateful I chose Deer Creek as they exceeded my expectations. I am forever thankful for making this heartbreaking experience a peaceful memory. All the support staff and attending doctor deserve recognition and much appreciation. Bless you all!
