Pals Dog Training

We had a wonderful experience with Dominic and Pals Dog Training. We got a puppy at 6 months old and when we brought him home he went nuts around our cat and other dogs on walks. Dominic came recommended from a friend, and we outlined a few challenge areas we wanted to work on. He came up with a training plan, focusing on 3 main skills. We met over several weeks and built upon each skill, and the results exceeded anything we had imagined. I couldn't recommend Pals Dog Training enough.

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Dominic. After working with a couple other trainers and feeling increasingly discouraged, we were honestly ready to just give up on our goals. Then we found him, and everything changed. From the very first session, his intuition with our dogs was remarkable. He seemed to be able to read them immediately. He understands their individual personalities, sensitivities, motivations, and even their subtle body language cues. We are so grateful to Dominic for improving our relationship with our reactive Aussie, Wilma! Wilma was reactive to people, dogs, and really anything unusual in her line of sight - so much so that it was stressful to take her out on normal walks around the neighborhood or have friends come over to our house, because we were scared she might nip at them. Dominic spoke to me on the phone for a consultation and then met Wilma to get an idea of why things might be triggering her. Then he worked with us to come up with a custom training plan that helped us reach our goals of being able to be confident with Wilma around dogs and strangers. After the sessions he spent working with her and teaching us, we can hardly believe all the things Wilma can now do that we never thought she’d be able to! He

Dominic is an amazingly gifted and knowledgeable dog trainer. He has skills that just amaze me and I highly recommend his services. After our 1.5 year old cattle dog started exhibiting some big emotional responses to other dogs and people, we sought out some training with Dominic to help us understand our pup better.
