VCA Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital

I have been bringing my two dogs here for a while and we have always had a wonderful experience. My precious 13 year old baby boy had chronic pancreatitis and after a long battle, we had to send him over the rainbow bridge yesterday. Throughout his life here in Colorado, everyone at VCA Dakota Ridge was so great about getting us in, following up after appointments, and continuity of care when we would have to go to a different location for the emergency room on occasion (EVS in Lakewood is absolutely incredible as well). I took my dog Bentley to VCA Dakota Ridge for his shots and from the minute I walked in I was greated by the front desk and taken back to a room. This location is top notch . The Vet tech Brittnee came in and she was wonderful with Bentley and myself. She really cared and spent time going over all the shots , pricing and Bentleys care and took her time with us and then brought Dr Nicole Carrier in and she was just as caring and wonderful spend time answering the million questions I had and gave me great advice on Bentleys care and spend the time giving great food choices to keep him healthy. I am so glad I found VCA Dakota Ridge! They have been extremely helpful and caring with my 2 dogs for all of their needs over the years. They have made several referrals to better help us as we have new things come up from 24hour vets to Internal Medicine Specialists and I trust their advice and have not been steered wrong. You can tell they love what they do and all of their clients.

We've used VCA Dakota Ridge since 2021- their veterinary services are great and the vets, techs, and everyone around the office is so kind to me and my dogs. I have a nervous mutt and a high energy German Shepherd. My mutt hated the vet until she stayed at Dakota Ridge for a full-day dental procedure- at her recheck appointment, she practically pulled me INTO the office to say hello to her vet friends! My GSD, who can be a handful, has had great experiences with OFA hip X-rays and routine care. Even though I moved and this location is pretty far from me, I happily drive out of my way for vet visits. Thanks guys!

They were partnered with the foothills animal shelter so the first visit with my pup was free. We had such a great experience that we never found a different vet. I drive about 40 minutes to get there as I feel the service for my dog is worth it. He has severe anxiety around the vet and the team always helps make him feel so safe and at ease. They’re all so sweet with him and never make us feel rushed or like they have anything more important than seeing my pup. Would definitely recommend their services!
