My sweet Umi suffered a tracheal tear from a dental surgery she had. It was a complete accident but I noticed severe subcutaneous emphysema and needed her to be seen. It was during a weekend and Asher was the only emergency pet hospital open in the area. She stayed with them for multiple days and took such incredible care of her. They gave me detailed updates, showed genuine care and every time I called to check on her they would tell me of all the love they were giving her. I was terrified that Umi would be scared or think I abandoned having her stay for multiple days but with all the affection the staff at Asher gave her I think it ended up being a sort of vacation for Umi. We had an emergency visit at VCA Asher with our cat, Hearty, who was suffering from a urinary blockage, and the care we received was outstanding. Dr. Correia and the entire team acted quickly and professionally and ultimately saved his life. Dr. Correia took the time to clearly explain the diagnosis, treatment options, and next steps in a calm and compassionate way, which made an incredibly stressful situation much easier to navigate. The staff was kind, attentive, and clearly dedicated to both their patients and the families who love them. For emergency veterinary care, the pricing was very reasonable and transparent, with no unnecessary procedures or pressure. We felt informed and respected throughout the entire process. I would recommend them. I'm new to the area and this was the third vet I've tried. They have the most knowledgeable and caring doctors I've met. Maybe cost a little more than Cottonwood but it's worth it, especially if you don't know what's wrong with your pet. They really took the time to explain everything to me. Scheduling visits was easy and wait times not too bad.

The entire team at VCA Asher Animal Hospital was absolutely incredible when caring for our sweet boy, Arnold. From the moment we arrived, Kat and Joni greeted us with a big hello and made sure we were helped. Regina was so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our pet insurance paperwork was filled out correctly — a huge relief during an emotional time. Dr. Correia, Bonni, Amy, Melissa, and the rest of the team were knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly empathetic throughout Arnold’s procedure. Dr Joe is fantastic. He is very thorough and caring. He took very good care of Sissy thank u Dr. Joe💓 Now in regards to VCA Asher on hilltop they r greedy and don't care about our pets. They told the organization that was helping me fund my pets care that they won't c her again until I pay a 5 year old $250 past due bill I completely had forgotten about. But why make my pet suffer because obviously I have hit hard times and was not aware of my past due bill. I have every intention of making payments on that bill that has already went into collections but as for the recent health issue the organization is willing to pay for any procedures needed. So why do they turn my pet away. It's greed.
