Dr. Moody and his assistant were really helpful in caring for my cat. He suggested multiple treatment options and cared about her wellbeing. I've visited VCA West Loop Veterinarian many times and Dr. Moody is the best, highly recommend!

Dr. Moodie has gone above and beyond for my cat on multiple occasions. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly invested in his work. Whether for routine care or unexpected emergencies, he has always been responsive, thorough, and reassuring. I have complete trust in his judgment. I am so grateful to have a veterinarian who consistently provides such outstanding care. Highly recommend!

Do not take your pets to this place. They give wrong diagnoses. I lost my dog my child because of them. They never told us that my dog had kidney problems for years. We only recently found out she had stage 4 kidney disease, when it was already too late and nothing could be done to save her. If they had informed us from the beginning, we could have given her proper treatment and maybe had more time with her. They failed us completely. My dog died because of VCA.

I went there yesterday and was surprised by how awful they are. My dog went in for a respiratory infection that isn’t very serious (he had the same thing last winter) and after checking him out and determining he wasn’t too sick (their words, not mine), before even prescribing medication for him which fixed the problem last year, the doctor tried to feel me out on whether I would be interested in getting him X-rays to check for pneumonia. It was bizarre; it literally felt like she was feeling out how much money I made.. there was no medical need whatsoever to be discussing X-rays. Also, one of the first things she said to my dog was “I bet you don’t like to be told no” which was just passive aggressive and weird to me. I found the customer service and attitude of the vets to be fine, but the price is not reasonable here. Besides expensive regular check ups, they recommended dental work for our cat and quoted almost $2,000! Another vet in the city just recommended we brush our cat's teeth at home; we saw improvement and by avoiding VCA Animal Care we not only saved $2k but avoided an unnecessary, invasive, and stressful procedure on our kitty. 10 months later and kitty is fine with no dental issues...
