I found Varina based on reviews when I moved to Richmond last year from Northern VA. I’m happy I did! It’s easy to get to and has a small town feel. Online scheduling is a breeze, the staff, techs, and vets are all wonderful. They’re courteous, smart, and kind. Highly recommend!

The team is extremely polite, provides context to what they are doing and why to help my pet get the best care possible! I never feel like I am mislead or feel uncomfortable asking questions when we visit. I have and will continue to tell anyone who needs veterinary care that Varina is the best place to go!

I have been going to Varina Vet for over 20 years. The drs are caring and HONEST. Never have I had a bad experience with Billing, scheduling, or service. They all go the extra mile and make sure your furbabies get the best care.

Staff is always super kind and helpful. Can’t speak to surgeries, but their normal clinic visits have been great! The space is fairly small, so please be aware if your pet is reactive or just nervous! They are lovely with our 2 dogs and even our nervous girl has done very well with them, especially since they allow us to wait outside until our room is ready. Also be aware that small clinic may mean longer wait times for reception at high volume times. We appreciate their care!
