Gisell was incredible! She was so patient with my anxious pup, Marcie, sent me daily photo updates, and checked in with me any time she needed permission or clarity. Marcie even made a friend (this was a miracle considering she’s typically very anxious and reactive, but Gisell took many careful measures to introduce the dogs and monitored the situation to ensure everyone’s safety)! This is one of the first times where I wasn’t overly anxious boarding Marcie somewhere because I knew she was in great hands and because of Gisell’s stellar communication. Would highly recommend her to any other owners in RVA and we will definitely be booking with Playful Paws again!

Giselle has been amazing with my dog, Kashi! I use her for both daycare and boarding, and she always sends plenty of photos and updates throughout the day. Kashi is very comfortable with her and gets so excited when I mention going to daycare, which gives me total peace of mind. She has a perfect yard for high energy dogs and caters to their individual needs. I couldn’t ask for better care! I highly recommend.

Our standard poodle Fozzie absolutely loved spending time with Gisell! We were looking for quality, individualistic pet care and Playful Paws truly delivered. Gisell listened to our concerns (counter surfing…) and sent us updates with photos of Fozzie throughout his stay. Fozzie came home happy and tired after playing with toys and running around outside. Bruno just started attending day care last week and Gisell is amazing. She sends pictures throughout the day reassuring me Bruno is having so much fun and being well taken care of.☺️ He gets so excited every time he is getting dropped off. She is also very flexible with drop off and pick up time.

I used Gisell’s dog boarding services when I went on vacation for a week. At first, I was SO nervous at the idea of boarding my dog for so long while I was so far away but with Gisell’s kind, attentive, and caring nature I truly felt at ease with leaving my baby pup with her. Gisell sent consistent photos and updates that included small details about my dog’s personality that I was very grateful that she noticed.
