Value Vet

My dog ate a sock and I couldn’t afford the cost of the surgery ($6000) at the ER vet and was just devastated. I called Value Vet, they said that they do offer the surgery, it was a quarter of the price and they scheduled me to come in first thing the very next morning. When we got there and did x-rays, they discovered it was already in her colon so she would probably pass it on her own and she didn’t need the surgery. Cost me $337 including the x-rays and office visit and they sent me with 6cans of wet dog food and probiotics. Much better than the typical $500 it costs just to step foot into the waiting room at the ER vet!! Thank you so much!! I am very happy with my visit to Value Vet. I did not have an appointment, so I showed up right as they opened at 7am as a walk-in. The front desk staff was very helpful getting my cat checked in. I didn't have to wait for someone to take us back to an exam room. The nurse checked out my cat immediately and was very gentle and kind, while still being assertive enough to evaluate a scared cat. When the vet came in she listened intently without interrupting or making me feel like I didn't know what was going on with my pet. I felt like the staff genuinely cared about me and my cat. When making a treatment plan, the vet was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. She was upfront about prices, and even offered more cost-effective options for the expensive

I was very happy with the vet. She was very nice and gentle with my dog. I was very happy with the cost of X-ray and the amount of the bill. The other vet places charge between $250-$350 for X-rays alone. Not including the office visit and meds. I will be bringing both of my dogs here for yearly exams and vaccines.

Fantastic job very friendly and provided excellent and affordable service! My long haired kitty had some hair knots that had been bugging her. She is not declawed so trying to cut them with scissors was problematic. They suggested a lion cut and did a great job she looks adorable and feels much better!

I love this place. They take the time to explain care/ recommendations and are never in a hurry. Very reasonable with what they charge for services and provide the best care. Dr. K is truly amazing and has been so great to work with for multiple surgeries to remove Mast Cell Tumors. My fur baby and I appreciate her and her team so very much. It makes tough times much easier when you are able to trust your vet and feel the love they share for a pet who is so special to you.
