My mom got her dog right before I got mine and tried different trainers. While other trainers were knowledgeable, they weren't necessarily the right fit personality-wise. Then she found Sit Means Sit and was very impressed. I ended up taking my dog there as well and we love them! Ryan and Emily are both fantastic trainers. Both the private lessons and group classes have been incredibly helpful in teaching my dog way more than just a few tricks. The impulse control she's learned has been such a help in our daily life when it comes to seeing squirrels or even just when it's meal time.

Ryan and Emily both work with groups and on an individual basis. Always helpful with questions. Through their training I enjoy calm walks with my dog. We've been training for almost 3 years and have learned so much. I often get compliments on what a well trained dog Kiva is. We even became apart of the therapy dog team.

Emily and Ryan know what they’re doing. We set up a program with our super smart/stubborn 6 month lab. They asked our priorities and what we hoped to see in the results, after 10 or 11 days it was like a new, better version of our high energy puppy. After the training they spent time talking with us both and training us on how to continue the training and make the most out of this experience. Emily and Ryan are very knowledgeable and patient with you and your loved pets. You should feel very comfortable with your dog in their care.
