We got Trooper nine years ago at the USDA. This facility will restore your faith in government! It is spotless and the dog care is amazing. Troop is still trucking at 10 years old! Go Trooper!

We brought Phoenix home with us 10 years ago! He is now a grumpy old man, but is still the leader of his pack. He still hates to get his nails done and won't let us touch his feet. That is his ONLY flaw.

The center was suggested by someone associated with them. I had been looking for a dog over a year. It seemed that most of the shelters had a lottery system which was like being on an emotional roller coaster. Find a dog, make preparations to bring home and you draw the short straw...not a good feeling at all. After contacting the center(email), got a call in 24 hours and was told a dog was available! I immediately made an appointment to visit with Charley, a very handsome yellow lab/pink nose. He totally exceeded my expectations. Mild manners, highly intelligent and extremely obedient. Charley had been microchipped, treated for heart worms, rabies, fleas/ticks and any other dog diseases that exist, with a very extensive medical file. I spent about 3 hours with Charley on that visit

Was contacted by a John Cooper who was interested in a Beagle that we had posted on a rescue site. He contacted us and talked with my husband about setting up appointment to come see the dog. He went as far as asking us to take him to the vet and to call him when we got there and that the USDA would pay for his heart worm check up. We did contact him the day at the vet and no answer so after the long trip we went ahead and got the test done and paid for it. We then contacted Mr. Cooper to see when he was going to be able to come see the dog and to let him know we did what he asked about taking him to the vet. He once again set up another time with us and ending up not showing. I myself contacted Mr. Cooper and had left a voicemail he must have replied back to my husband for a 3rd time to
