Customer Reviews
As a first time pet owner, I was super nervous about bringing in my kitten for the first time to see a vet when she was experiencing some tummy issues. The team at UrgentVet was INCREDIBLY kind, reassuring and thorough, especially Vet Nurse Melanee!! Not sure if this is common practice or not, but they continuously checked in with me about costs of various treatments throughout the visit which I really appreciated. Ideally we don’t have to visit often of course, but I would 100% bring our kitten back here if needed. Highly recommend!!
UrgentVet was available for our cat when no other office or critical care facility would take us. We easily made an appointment online and was seen as soon as we got there. The team was kind, gentle and thorough. Although the process from start to finish took hours, they took great care of our senior cat keeping us updated. He got X-rays, blood work, antibiotics there, pain medicine sent home with us, fluids, and other treatment that was required. They continued to update us with estimates prior doing anything more and was even able to remove some not so necessary care/charges when I questioned it. 24 hours later, a team member called just to check on Levi, who is doing so much better. I appreciate the care he received and I hope they know that the work they do makes a difference. Thank yo
After a previous experience at another facility that did not meet my expectations, I chose to leave and seek care at UrgentVet—and I am very glad I did. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the level of professionalism and genuine care provided. The receptionist was welcoming, courteous, and very professional, which immediately put me at ease during a stressful time. Thomas Gomes, D.V.M., was outstanding. He was kind, compassionate, and empathetic, and he took the time to carefully explain what was happening with my pet in a clear and reassuring manner. His assistant was equally attentive and supportive, walking me through each step of the process and making sure I understood the care being provided. Throughout the visit, I truly felt heard and respected. The team demonstrate
On August 23rd, 2025 my cat Marlowe dropped to the ground with no warning while we were playing and was gone within minutes. There were no warning signs. His primary vet is closed on weekends, but I’ve talked to her since and she believes it was a blood clot. I was fully hysterical when I called UrgentVet; I was screaming, sobbing, and I highly doubt it was possible to understand what I was saying without great effort. The woman who answered the phone spoke to me calmly and talked me through how to confirm he had passed. When I called back later to talk about his cremation, she was able to provide me a price for the services quickly. She talked me through how to save a spot with them online and input my information so that they would not have to ask me for any information when I arrived.
I had to rush my three year old cat, Simba, to this emergency clinic on the day I was moving. Everything happened so suddenly he started crying in the elevator on the way to the car, and by the time I got to the car, he had curled up in his carrier and wasn’t breathing. I tried CPR until my friend downstairs got to me and then my friend gave him cpr on the way and we got here within minutes. When we arrived, the staff immediately took him from my friends arms and rushed him to the back. Within minutes they came out and let me know that he was gone. They were gentle, compassionate, and honest with me I just kept saying I don’t understand what happened and they said he must have had underlying health problems it could have been a blood clot a heart attack etc They let us go into a private
