Customer Reviews
We unfortunately had a bit of a lily scare (our fault completely) over Valentines Day and we brought our kitty to Penn Emergency Vet to get checked to see if the interaction was toxic. Each professional we encountered during our visit was compassionate, kind, supportive, and took the time to listen to our concerns. Although the wait was longer than anticipated, they kept us informed as to what was going on often. There was plenty of room to spread out, free water/coffee/tea, and cleanly restrooms. We find ourselves lucky to be close to such world class care and are grateful our baby is okay. Thank you to the entire team! 💙
Excellent care and service. We came here when my two-year-old cat, Teddy, went into heart failure. We were seen immediately, and Dr. Joseph provided the most compassionate, patient, and thoughtful care during the worst day of my life. He took the time to answer all of my questions, supported both me and my parents, and always kept Teddy’s comfort and best interests at the center of every conversation. I am deeply grateful to him and the entire Penn Vet team for their care and humanity during an unimaginable loss.
This veterinary office saved my cat from dying. They were able to diagnose him quickly and get him in life support. He would not be alive if it wasn’t for this place. Nadia was our doctor. She was kind and very knowledgeable. He is back to his playful self! I couldn’t be more grateful.
I took my 10 year old dog here when he had bloody stool and refused to eat or drink. It’s an allergic reaction to certain foods which he had accidentally gotten a hold of. I had to bring him here because my normal vet was overcrowded. They took him back about 3 hours after we arrived, and then 5.5 later, after being explicitly assured he was being cared for and asking the front desk many times what was going on with him with no information given, I finally found out nothing had been done - they hadn’t even given him fluids yet! I asked the front desk to just go get him and bring him to me so I could take him elsewhere. At that time, they went into the back and 20mins later the vet came out and asked questions about him and finally started working on him, and he was ready to be taken home w
As you can check I never write bad reviews. I took my puppy who has had diarrhea for over a week. His siblings have also had diarrhea. In triage 3 nurses at the same time came out to speak to us. I explained the situation and they told me that they wouldn't take the poop sample. They said they typically throw it away and don't test. I asked what they would do and one of them said a physical exam and possibly an ultrasound. When I asked if they did fecal testing they said no. We don't see how the facility can solve an issue with 3 dogs and diarrhea if they don't test. As we walked away we heard them laughing about us. I'm absolutely at my wits end, I’ve been awake all night with 3 sick dogs - one is a young puppy, one is a very elderly senior and to have these three nurses laugh about us
