I went there for a second opinion because of my dog's eyes. The first vet I took them to, even though I never really had a problem with them, I wasn't happy with their answers especially after letting them know that the medication they prescribed was making his eyes worse and they refused to change it back to the original prescription another doctor that used to work there prescribed. The doctor at this new location went into so much detail, education, and my husband and I were very impressed. He switched my dog back to the original medication, per my request, as well as some other stuff and I'm going to see them again in 2 weeks after the medications are done to see how he is progressing. In February, I took my puppy Spike to University Animal Hospital for a respiratory infection. They treated him and also ran a fecal test, which revealed a parasite. They prescribed medication, and we followed the treatment exactly as instructed. After completing it, I brought him back for a follow-up visit where he received a couple of shots, and I left another fecal sample. They told me they would call only if there was something abnormal with the results. Since I never received a call, I trusted that everything was fine. We said goodbye to our beloved Ellie yesterday. From the very first phone call to our final goodbye, the team was beyond gracious and sympathetic. The process was explained, and they guided us with different options. Everything about the process was carefully done, and I know how much care went into making sure our Ellie was as comfortable as possible. They have little vials for keepsake fur. Thank you, everyone, for your kindness. It meant so much to Mike and I, and of course, our baby girl Ellie.
