Wow! These "vet" really need to stick to adoption and flea checks. Brought in out 10 year old pug. Said they took xrays but wouldn't show us? They said she has a uti and prescribed a 10 day of course of antibiotics. She was getting better and took her in now the "vets" say now it's heart failure!? No blood tests taken, NOTHING! THEY PERSCRIBE HER HEART FAILURE MEDS WITH NO BLOOD TEST OR NOTHING! DR. Brie was VERY RUDE! DOCTOR LENORA HAS BEEN THE DOCTOR! GOING TO CONTACT A FAMILY MEMBER IN THE SENATE ABOUT HOW BAD THIS PLACE REALLY IS!! DAMN NEAR KILLED MY PUG PUTTING HER ON UNESSACARY MEDS! Then go back today and was treated very unfairly by the staff! You lie about ME yelling. Your trying to save face! We got a wonderful dog through Underdog Pet Rescue in November of 2020. Then, my parents adopted a cat in January of 2021. They're careful to make sure their animals go to a good home. We love our dog!! Update: I now foster dogs through Underdog! They're a wonderful rescue and vet clinic. I was well trained and supported to help foster dogs. It's so rewarding seeing amazing dogs find a forever home.

I had a great experience with Underdog when adopting our kitty, Dave. The process was thorough, yet not unreasonable. The foster mom, Shelley, was fantastic and helpful. She truly cared about getting us the right kitten since we have a puppy, as well. I would definitely recommend this organization if you are looking to adopt.

I applied to adopt in summer 2025. My application was approved, but the adoption coordinator attempted to walk back the approval after my apartment complex informed her that they charge a one-time pet deposit, monthly pet rent, and require resident pets participate in PooPrints (all of which seem standard for nicer pet-friendly complexes in the area). It left a poor taste in my mouth to see a rescue prevent a possible adoption due to what they saw as high fees (ones that seemed average to me, the adopter, and ones I was willing to pay). It’s an unfortunate commonality to see shelters let perfect be the enemy of good, and set partial standards for adopters that only stall successful adoptions. It seems Underdog falls in this camp. Sadly would not recommend this place, we lost our cat a week after she got spayed here, and while I understand they do everything they can to avoid these circumstances and these things do happen I cannot get over how incredible insensitive the staff was to our situation, I called numerous times to get ahold of someone and we never received a call back. When I finally got ahold of someone they assured me they would have someone close the loop the following week. Well a week has gone by and absolutely nothing but an email, It would've been nice to actually get a call back from the vet during our time of grieving, but unfortunately that was not the case. My family is understanding and we do not fault this establishment for what happened but we would've liked to be shown some compassion toward
