Uncle Bill's Pet Centers Zionsville

This is the only Uncle Bill's location to leave my wife and I frustrated when we visit. The store itself is arguably better than all the others in terms of size and selection. In comparison to other locations, the staff here is lacking. Whether that be simple customer service, or knowledge. We encountered reptiles without heat lamps turned on, incorrect pricing, labels and prices for items that weren't actually there, straight up told I wouldn't want a fish cause that specific one was mean. I'm also 99% sure they had to buzz us out cause the door to the exit is locked via mag lock? Not sure what this means for fire safety. As soon as this store opened we saw the staff handling things professionally doing inventory working hard. I was able to play with 2 dogs with ease and they also have a cat that roams around which makes the experience even better. The place is kept clean and each staff member does their part effectively. Definitely recommend, better Uncle Bills than any of the other ones I have been to, will definitely come back!

i remember visiting ONCE a few years back. not hard to see why, like many other reviews its a SEEMINGLY upkept store. we were enjoying looking through the various supplies, but my partner noted the aquariums were filthy. we arent even aquatic experts, but take a closer look past all the fancy flashy exotic (invasive?) fish, and see the nasty slime in the tanks. we realized we were actually in a terrible place when we saw all the puppies lined up in tiny, cramped cubicles with no amenities in sight. we looked at each other and whispered "puppy mill?" and left without making a purchase. it WAS a fun visit, until we used an ounce of critical thinking. this establishment is clearly built on exploiting both animals AND the ignorance/naïvety of local patrons with more money than sense. this is a

She’s really really cute and friendly with my guinea pigs. 2nd important thing is there staff is very friendly and very helpful. Specially employee name Norah. She’s is the best employee I have ever met on pet stores very helpful person. I request to owner of store. She’s really deserve Reward For the service. I bought a betta from this store about a month ago and he is thriving. I had bad luck with buying bettas from chain pet stores like PetSmart who succumb to health issues later on. I I like that they keep them in bowls rather than in small plastic cups. When I went to pick one out all the bettas looked healthy and were making bubble nests. Even though they’re a lot more pricey than chain pets stores, I think it’s worth it for a healthy a betta.
