Very disappointed. We suspected our miniature donkey was very pregnant, and had this vet come out to check. After doing an onsite ultrasound, the vet told us that our donkey was not pregnant, but was just fat. We also asked (and paid for) a blood test, and there was no follow-up from the vet. About 2 months later, our donkey gave birth. We tried to call the vet after the baby arrived, and asked about the blood test results and what happened. We were told the vet had to go over the blood test results with us and would call. They never did. 3 days later I called the Practice Manager, and she said she would speak to the vet and call me on Friday 12/5/25. I never heard from her. What an exceptional experience for newly minted North Carolinians in from Ohio with a need to establish care. Dr Elle and Dr Mary were amazing! Efficient, confident and compassionate on both exam and procedure. For my senior partner, My Friend Wes, I hoped to find practitioners who can manage our primary care and specialty needs across the ages and stages. I believe I have found it here. A++ Service. We are located all the way in MN and had our horses in NC. Needed coggins pulled to ship them the next day. Super fast communication and made it happen for us to move our horses last minute. Very professional and came as a recommendation. Thanks again! I would recommend to anyone.

First time horse owner, and definitely found my forever equine vet! Dr Lauren did my paint Amigo's pre purchase exam and annual with vaccines. I've also emailed them on multiple occasions with concerns. They called me within 30 mins of getting those emails with either an answer from a dr or getting Dr Lauren to come out for same day emergency. They're great at what they do and very kind people! Amigo says thanks!

Best vet ever, Dr. Mary Gochnauer is the best. Excellent equine veterinary care, very professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet they can truly trust.
