Troutman Animal Hospital

We brought our 13 year old boy in when he had gotten really sick with cancer and ended up having to be put to sleep. We had never been there before and didn’t have an appointment and they still promptly checked him and put us in a room. The receptionist, vet tech, and vet were so amazing throughout the whole visit. They didn’t treat it as just another thing or something they’re used to doing, and understood how important and loved he was to us and were so gentle with him. Prices were also very reasonable. They treated us with kindness and compassion and patience every step of the way. I’m so happy we chose to go here! Thank you Troutman Animal Hospital team!

The doctors and Vet Techs have all been lovely, but every receptionist but Hannah has been so immensely rude. I can only afford (though not really) care for my animals when they are sick, so I guess they just don't really care about people who aren't regulars. That's how they make you feel. They give good care, but if you want to feel awful for asking questions, talk to the receptionists. They'll get you to that point.

My sweet boy, Jasper, was put down yesterday at this vet. The same vet he'd seen for the entirety of his 15 years of life. They treated our sweet boy with the utmost respect and us with the same. Dr. Novosad had seen him from the age of 6 months to the time he passed. I'm so thankful she was the one to do so. She's incredible thoughtful, thorough and more than anything, caring. I'm so thankful for this woman I'm writing a damned review on google. This isn't just a "vet." This is a place your children can bring their animals and feel at home. That's how caring they are. DD and Novosad. I thank you for all you did for Jasper. We were lucky to have him in our life, but having y'all made us feel doubly lucky and thought of.

This vet has taken care of all my furbabies for over 20 years. They have been there through the healthy times, sick times and goodbyes. The staff truly care about your furbabies and do not try to rob you blind while doing it. One time my Great Dane bit one of the vets and another vet stepped in and still showed my boy love and compassion even though he was a bad boy. You don't find staff like that anywhere else. If you have furbabies, I would strongly recommend you bring them here.

We had a great experience today with Sue and Dr. Hernandez! Our dog Peter is a rescue and gets very anxious at the vet. Sue was so calm and kind, she gained his trust quickly! Dr. Hernandez was thorough and insightful with her evaluation with great beside manner. They were wonderful & put our minds at ease! Thankful for the wonderful staff at Troutman Animal Hospital!
