This place is a Godsend! The women there helped me from the second I stepped in the door to the moment I left with my first cat, Mayor 🐈. I left feeling fully informed, equipped, and supported in my new cat owning journey!

They truly care for animals. We had a great experience recently after reaching out to them about an injured kitten that appeared on our back porch. So thankful for True Rescue. 💚

Truly one of the best Cat rescues in Tennessee. You can tell how much they care about each and every single cat, they come into contact with! Everyone is so helpful, honest, and caring about what you’re looking for in a companion. We love our babies we got from them, and will recommend this place to anyone. Also they’re nonprofit so make sure to donate. 🙂

True Rescue is amazing. We just adopted our second kitten from them, and we couldn’t be happier. Their workers and volunteers work so hard to save cats and finds good homes for them. If it's not a kitten and easily rehomable True Rescue won't help you. Me and my fiancé have both reached out to this rescue due to an injured (Mangled limb) cat showing up on our property that urgently needed help, we where told told that they don't prioritize outside strays or older cats but to send videos and pictures of the injury and that they would "get back to us", we sent everything requested and then they promptly ghosted us. We have been waiting for weeks for a response, they where a last option after going to several other rescues that where either full or unable to help yet somehow all of the other ones had more respect and common decency that True Rescue.
