Providence Animal Hospital

We took both of our border collies to Providence Animal Hospital and saw Dr. Aaron Hollis. All I can say is that our experience was amazing!!! He took some much time with each of our dogs and explained in detail all of their test results and his recommendation on their treatments. He even performed a needle biopsy right in the room. We were told by our prior vet that our dog would have to be put to sleep to have it done. Our dog did so well and we got the results right then. He also did a thyroid test on our female dog and text me later that afternoon on those result the same day. Our other dog is 10 and was having a harder time walking and getting up especially after a fall during the ice storm. He did x rays on her back, leg and knee. For months I asked for a thyroid panel for my dog, every time that was dismissed. Dr palmer just kept recommending I replace half her diet with green beans and walk her to help her lose weight… even when that didn’t work the thyroid panel was dismissed because she “didn’t feel it was necessary.” Dr Palmer just always seemed to brush off my worries, not sure if that has to do with me being young but it was unprofessional! It took one appointment at another practice and my dog had her thyroid levels tested and a prescription for thyroid replacement medication. She has since lost 15 pounds without a green beans diet and is doing amazing!

We are new to the area. Providence Animal Hospital and Pet Resort was our first experience with a new vet for our almost 13 year old Lhasa Poo. As many of you know it is difficult to get vet appointments or grooming appointments if you are new in town. I was so relieved to have such a wonderful experience in this establishment. They exceeded my expectations beyond belief. The place was beautiful and clean. Every single person I encountered with the staff was friendly. The vet techs and the veterinarian were patient and attentive. The cost was very reasonable (IMO) The systems they have in place are so awesome. And they have thought out every detail.…. If you are looking to change vets or new to the area, I would give them a try. You will NOT be disappointed 👍🏼🎉🎉5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Lauren was awesome! The facility was very clean and modern. Prices are competitive.
