Top Breed Dog & Cat Grooming

I took my lovely Leia here to get groomed for the third time and didn’t like how she treated my dog. The other times were fine, but not this time and my dog won’t be back. My dog is very sweet.. when I arrived to pick up my dog, the lady claimed my dog bit her. I wonder why? Well when I arrived home, my dog had two of her doggy nips cut, and they cut her hair too short and uneven.. it does not look nice.. my dogs chest is red, irritated, and the hair around there was cut way too short.. they also left a small cut on her stomach.. and what are all those black tiny specks on her? I brought her in to get groomed, not dirty. My poor dog won’t be ever coming here again.. see pictures attached. The cages are FILTHY. Update: my dogs wound has not healed and has gotten worse. I've been going to Betty for some time now since my Miniature Poodle mix was 6 mos old..he is now 1 yr and 7 mos every time I go there I get treated with the utmost respect she's very kind and gentle with my dog and my dog loves her so being that I always had good experiences with my dog I bring my other dog and he got just a shampoo conditioner and nails cut with ears clean and that outcome was beautiful I will continue to bring my dogs there. She never disappoints me when it comes to my poodles haircut if I wanted the cut a certain way all I have to do is bring her a picture. And mind you the prices are very reasonable and I will continue to go back to Betty.❤️❤️❤️

Been a few time for my rescue chihuahua to get his nails cut. He has a huge fear of paws and especially nails being touched. - been here 2 or 3 times because it was the cheapest around. - 1st trip a guy who only spoke Spanish did a good job- put dog on a table and used both a clipper and drummer - he was very patient and did the job alone. - 2nd time, female owner and assistant trimmed nails - he bled - 3rd time owner had me hold him in the front while she tried clipping. Quik was cut really short on 2 nails. I had to carry him the few blocks home - he was in pain and had trouble walking. I was about to cry when I said ok - enough- stop - that’s bad. She wanted to put hydrogen peroxide on it and I said no. She said I should not bring him back and just paid the assistant $10 that was due. W

I booked a full cut & grooming appointment last Saturday, September 9th @ 2pm, for my puppy. It was my first time visiting this location, because my regular groomer has moved out of the area. To my relief, they had an opening last minute. When I arrived, I had high hopes because there were many dogs & the staff was friendly. After the grooming for my puppy, we thought that maybe his fur was cut rather short but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, as we arrived home, I removed the red bandana from my puppy's neck that was given to him. To my SHOCK, there were multiple bald patches around his neck. Not only that- he had multiple nicks & cuts! They were down to the skin, and had blood exposure. I inspected his whole body and found another small cut above his left eye. I was absolute

We have been going to Top Breed for a few years now. We have 2 dogs.. a female Maltese and a male ShiTzu. The staff was very patient with our dogs because the Maltese has an umbilical hernea and the ShiTzu was getting his first bath and groom. Ever since we started we have had nothing but great moments. The dogs come back smelling very nice and they now love the handlers and groomer at Top Breed. I would recommend the business to my friends and family and will continue to support the business.
