They saved my fur baby’s life! ❤️ I drove nearly an hour and a half in pouring rain to get here after being turned away at my local emergency vet (they were full). My kitty was experiencing labored breathing and they took her in as soon as we got into the waiting room. The facility was very clean and the care was prompt. Their fee was also cheaper than the one local to me, at $175 for the visit. They got my baby in an oxygen cage, measured her respiratory rate, and monitored her. They suspected pneumonia due to hearing fluid in her chest and advised x-rays but did note that the cost would be cheaper if I took her to my primary care vet the next day due to the way their contract pricing works. Overall, they were very transparent with pricing and informative. Dr. Hermosa, the vet, spoke ca

Dr. Baker and his staff were the best! Tito’s transfusion went better than expected! One of the staff members even held him in her lap during the transfusion with his tail wagging continuously! They were so caring and attentive to letting me know how things were going the whole time Tito was there. Sadly, Tito’s little body rejected the blood and he passed away on Saturday, 4 days after he received his new blood! I would definitely recommend this emergency vet!

Our experience at Veterinary Emergency Referral center was wonderful! Having recently moved to the area, we having not yet found a vet, our puppy needed veterinary attention on a Saturday and google pointed us to VERC. I called before arriving (as I had an hour trip ahead of me) and Nati Was so nice to listen and answer my questions. Upon arrival to their facility, she was also the employee who got us registered and admitted Quickly, ensuring that my puppy was tended to immediately. Meanwhile 3 other pets were in need of attention and she was helpful to each one promptly. Nati, along with Maritla and Holly were all very kind, helpful, and made us feel very comfortable and welcome during our time there; it was as if they had been our usual Vet all along, treating us like current usual pat

Is the place pricey? Yes. I read some of the reviews complaining about price and was afraid of extreme expenses with our rescue dog (nursing puppies) that started to crash, but what we ended up finding is that the prices we were quoted were very similar to another local urgent vet. From the moment we walked in, every receptionist, tech, or doctor we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel calm and explain things thoroughly. Dr. Navarro went beyond the call of duty to ensure we were comfortable with the care plan, and she was awesome about working with our other vet office to manage expenses as much as possible. Dr. Acosta similarly was level-headed and helped us feel so confident about the game plan for our dog’s health. Both doctors explained things well. Neither doctor did

1000/10. I was away from home for work and my pup got sickly, they helped and took the bestest care of her!! The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable, Dr. Matyi understood and answered all my questions and worries. Madelyn and Hope were so amazing in explaining everything to me and my pup loved all the lovings she was getting from her name sister Rosa, Marietta and the other lovely ladies! Very very pleased with my visits (:
