The Veterinarian at Lake Oconee

Dr. Gibson and his team have cared for Rocco since he was a puppy, and we couldn’t ask for better hands. Rocco is always excited to see his doctor, which says everything about the kindness and care they provide. When he wasn’t feeling well this week, we brought him in on Monday and discovered he had a ball lodged in his stomach. Dr. Gibson fit him in for surgery the very next day and took exceptional care of our silly boy. He thoroughly explained other vet options in the region, but we trusted his judgment completely. Thanks to him, Rocco is in great spirits and recovering beautifully. Our new puppy already loves everyone at The Vet at Lake Oconee as well. Dr. Gibson’s passion for what he does truly shows in the compassionate, expert care he provides.

Normally don't do reviews but Dr Gibson did such a great job explaining what was going on with my dog that I wanted to give a shout out for the care and time he took to make sure I understood what had happened medically and what to expect in the future. I wish my own doctor had the bedside manner and knowledge that Dr Gibson has given me with my dog. His diagnosis was right on the money and his prediction of when and how my dog's situation would evolve was perfect. I wish everyone I deal with was as good as he is. Finally his staff is absolutely wonderful they provided the support and care that we needed in this unexpected medical situation. Could not ask for better. Thank you very much!

Nothing but positive things can be said about Dr. Gibson and his wonderful staff. We have had 3 diabetic babies that have needed constant care. Dr. Gibson is a compassionate and very knowledgeable. He also has additional resources available for special needs. I could go on and on. You and your fur babies will be very pleased with The Vet at Lake Oconee!

Absolutely the best vet! Dr. Gibson takes the time to explain what is going on with your pet and the plan of action. He is compassionate and dedicated to providing the best care for your fur baby. I love that he gets down on the floor with your pet and interacts with them while diagnosing issues. You can’t ask for a better vet!

The staff and Dr. Gibson are kind and compassionate. We've always trusted the level of care they have given to our pets. From Dr. Gibson, to the vet techs and the front desk, everyone is super nice, knowledgeable, and treat us like family. The facility is spotless. We're lucky to have them in town.
