She cares deeply that she meets your needs and expectations. We had Maggie Mae groomed yesterday and she looks adorable plus Maggie was so happy to be there. I only choose the best for my dog, and The Doghouse at Lake Oconee is top notch! The facility is clean, welcoming, and clearly run by people who love what they do. My pup Pêpé had an absolute blast—he came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for. I’ll definitely be bringing him back. Highly recommend for anyone who wants peace of mind while their dog is living their best life!

I cannot recommend this place enough! The facility is top-notch — the kennels are not only clean and new, but they’re also thoughtfully designed with the dogs’ comfort in mind. The space is HUGE, allowing the pups to run and play freely. It’s clear that the owners put a lot of effort into creating a safe, spacious, and welcoming environment. What really stood out to me was the level of transparency from the owners. They were incredibly open about where my dog would be staying, where they’d sleep, and the activities they’d be doing throughout the day. I felt completely reassured that my pup was in good hands. We have had our dog for eleven years now and boarded several different locations and have NEVER had this kind of experience! From start to finish, the facility and team there were the absolute best. The attention to detail and genuine care for our pup, going above and beyond. Also, the most communication we have ever received regarding photos, updates, etc. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing she was in the best hands. We cannot recommend Payten and her team more!!!
