The PAW Mission Veterinary Hospital

We adopted a pup from SB county animal services and they set up our spay appointment with this hospital. Our doggie is 2 days post-op and seems to be recuperating well. Day of surgery, we checked her in at 7 am and after a short wait and a quick medical eval, she was taken to the back with the rest of the dogs getting services. We had been told that she would be ready to be picked up by or before 3pm. We received a text message letting us know that we could come get her at 1:30 but that we had the option of coming at 3, if needed. I believe they have low-cost services that include microchip, vaccines and of course spay/neuter.

I love the staff there. This is affordable spay and neuter for rescue dogs I try to personally help. I often Pop in in the afternoon after lunch and before 2:30pm for microchip or shots, no appointment needed. I rescue street dogs, to have them around my personal dogs, I get everyone shits for safety. They check for microchip for me. I have been fortunate that when a weird chip with no association to normal microchips, the gentleman at the front, did a quick research while I was getting shots and gave me the chip # and the manufacturer so I could register it. I want to be sure that if dogs I rescue go back to their family. That I can be notified if the dog ends up in the shelter, I also add the family information so if their dog ends up in the shelter, they can be reached... The gentleman

This place is great! They are more affordable to help pet parents get their pets Spayed/ Neutered.This group has helped so many pet owners & The BIG plus is they Welcome the feral/community cats aka street cats to offer their Free TNVR clinics ...Trap,Neuter/Spay, Vaccinate & Return..to help out with the feral / community cat population..This is SO AWESOME! I've also met some really great staff in their mobile clinic as well as this clinic location. They all go above & beyond offering a pet food pantry for owners to give them assistance to help feed their pets if they are having a financial hardship or just help them keep their pets belly full .They are also so KIND when they opened up a food pantry for the two legged human type if they needed food. We drive a few hours away from where we live to bring our cats in to be spayed and neutered here. A lot of people bring their dogs here also . Their staff is always very nice, professional and organized. Their prices are very reasonable, they accept vouchers, and this gives us the opportunity to help tackle the feral & community cat situation in the area where we live. I want to give a big shout out to them. Thank you so much!

Receptionist is argumentative and rude, they prescribed my dog medication but refuse to answer the phone or email for chewy.com (who they recommended) so that I can get the medication my dog needs. I’m on the phone with chewy rn while they try to get ahold of them.
