We brought Ruby in for private lessons with Armando. We had just moved to the area and we were struggling to manage Ruby’s reactivity toward dogs and people living in a more densely populated community. On top of the reactivity we were dealing with a dog that was a major puller and did not listen to us outside the house. Now we are able to walk Ruby multiple times per day without feeling like our hands are being crushed from the pulling. She is able to experience more freedom and overall have more fun with us. Our 2 1/2 year old Bernedoodle was very restless and constantly searching for trouble in our home, he had leash pulling tendencies, and over excitement when greeting people. We entrusted Armando with our dog for a 3 week board and train. We now know how to manage our dog’s behavior, walk with him being attentive and not pulling, and a recent trip to the vet proved life can be a lot less chaotic and much more peaceful with a well trained pup! I can not speak highly enough about Armando and Tyler at Hyper Pup! My eight month old Bernedoodle puppy, Donut, is very smart but very challenging. He was a counter surfer who has an affinity for socks. I was constantly chasing him trying to get him from eating things he shouldn’t be. He picked up basic commands (sit, down, paw) but was inconsistent and EASILY distracted. He would pull terribly during walks and the minute he saw a person, dog, or a blowing leaf I knew the whip lash was coming! We LOVE Armando! From the very first conversation about our 6-month-old wild child, we knew Armando was the one that could help. Our pup Harper attended a 3-week board and train for basic puppy commands, leash control and resource guarding. The improvement is immeasurable! We had a 3 1/2 month old Newfoundland puppy from rescue who had been abandoned after a fire by her previous owners. I was struggling with crate and potty training and just trying to teach her basic manners. Enrolled her in Armando‘s board and train program for three weeks at the end of that time she was a completely different dog she had learned sit and stay, down and stay, come and walk very very nicely on a loose leash. She was very young, but even at her young age Armando did extremely well with her. She will be going back in a few months for some follow up and additional training. In the meantime, we are working with the videos that Armando created for us and our constantly reinforcing what she has already learned. I highly recommend Armando and his program.
