The Good Dog Rescue

Absolutely discouraged by this rescue. My husband took the kiddos and I to their last event at weather tech as a surprise thinking we could rescue a puppy that day. We were introduced to “brownie” who my kids and I feel in love with. We applied to find out that we were judged by the age range of my kids. This puppy didn’t snip or anything around my kids for the hour that we were there. The director made me go up and ask her about my application instead of telling us why then to find out why. We lost our fur baby in January. Didn’t even open her mind up to let us adopt any other dog that may be able to be around kids! I wouldn’t recommend this rescue if you have kids. They definitely judge kids age range and they are not kind.

I adopted my little dog, Scarlett, when she was 7 and she is 9 now. Got her at a Gooddog rescue event. It was love at first sight and a wonderful experience! Seniors are the greatest! Thank you so much!!

We adopted both of our dogs from The Good Dog Rescue, and my mom's dog too! This group of people are so kind, and so dedicated to the success of these dogs. They offer training support to help the transition of your new family member into your life and your home, and they are constantly available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. They are terrific and I cannot recommend them highly enough!
