They have been great with both our cats. Always provide great service, are very considerate and willing to help navigate any nuances with the care or personality of the patients.

My sweet cat Tansy has only one flaw, she is obsessed with eating non-food objects. The Cat Hospital has been an integral part of rescuing her from her own bad choices twice now, and I can’t be more thankful for how thoughtful and nonjudgmental they have been both times. Dr. S has validated the exhausting experience it is to have a cat like this without any sense of blame, which is truly so appreciated during these times of crisis. I cannot recommend The Cat Hospital enough; pricing is incredibly fair, scheduling is accessible, and all of the staff are so friendly. Everyone seems to truly care about you and your cat’s wellbeing. Thank you all!!!

They saved Henrys life. I can't tell you how amazing this place is.Thank God I found them. And here's the updated picture of Henry. He's doing great. He hops along like it's nothing! Saw his doctor last week. He needs to go on a diet. He tips over sometimes because he's fat. This is the best cat hospital that I've ever been to.

My boy had his first visit to the Cat Hospital of Durham and Chapel Hill, and I was very happy!! Dr. Edwards-Seal was very quick, efficient, and kind. Stitch was very nervous, but they were super sweet and reassuring to him, and made him feel super comfortable even though he was anxious. They were quick and painless with his nail trim and bloodwork, and they even gave us a super cute welcome package. Thank you for taking care of my baby!

I had been bringing my cat to The Cat Hospital since 2017 until early 2025. For years, everything was fine since he was a healthy cat who only needed routine checkups and vaccines with Dr. Szymkowski or Dr. Edwards. But I truly believe you only see the quality of a veterinarian when your pet develops real health issues, and that’s where my experience completely fell apart. My cat developed urinary issues/blockages and was treated by Dr. Szymkowski. She performed a bladder surgery to remove stones, but only three months later, he was blocked again. She was also hesitant to even try to unblock him with a catheter, openly saying she was having a “very stressful week” because her own cat was having health issues, and she didn’t want to deal with the stress of unblocking mine (aka… doing her j
