The Cat Chalet

I cannot recommend the Cat Chalet enough and truly wish there was a rating of 5+. Susan and her family are incredibly kind, understanding and flexible. The Cat Chalet is designed with every comfort you could imagine for felines (calming music, dimmed lighting, various enrichment). I recently boarded both of my kitties (Thumbelina and Elliot Finley) for their first time ever. Susan and Family were understanding of my anxiety with leaving them especially with my Elliot Finley who has a stress induced medical issue. Sadly as I pulled into the parking lot for drop off, Lina had vomited in the carrier. Susan was understanding and immediately took her to the grooming area for a clean up. The client text line is very convenient for visit updates and future reservations. Susan was quick to pick

Today we took our Beautiful, senior kitty to Cat Chalet for her first visit there. Susan gave Mitzi a nail trim which was complete in 5 minutes or less. I felt comfortable with Susan, and could tell she has much experience. Mitzi was not the least bit bothered by the situation. We will bring our Mitzi back again and maybe try the boarding. I struggled for years to maintain my cat's matted coat, and I am so grateful that I found Susan. She is so compassionate, gentle and caring. Her staff are wonderful and truly care about the well-being of your pet. I am very grateful for everything they have done for us!

We love taking our two boys to Susan’s place when we’re gone for an extended period of time. She really enjoys what she does and you can tell all the guest kitties get lots of love while their owners are away. Her prices are very reasonable/affordable. We like to put our cats in the Sicily room. Make sure to book in advance because she fills up quickly! We also take them there for grooming needs as well, and they always come back looking great!

The Cat Chalet and Susan and Stefanie are just amazing. They care so much about the kitties and provide a warn and comfortable environment. My cats didn't want to leave! I highly recommend the Cat Chalet in Reno, NV for anyone looking for boarding or cat grooming! I am so grateful to have found The Cat Chalet!!
