Pack City Doggie Stylez

Last year I adopted a senior dog who, coincidentally, used to be brought here for 7 years by his mom who passed away. My boy is (we think) a Cockapoo and is EXTREMELY difficult to groom. He won’t stay still, thrashes around and gets very loud/growly when his paws and butt are touched. Ellie has done an amazing job with him!! She’s been so patient with him, especially since he was described as being one of her most difficult grooms ever. Ellie has always been very communicative about any issues that came up during the grooming, all while being very kind and not at all judgmental. I cannot recommend this salon enough, especially Ellie if you want someone you can trust to take care of your difficult dog.

I love this place! I just switched over because I heard good things about them, and my little cavalier looks fantastic. Alexis cut her hair exactly the way I requested and my pup is so soft and clean! She’s knowledgeable about animal health and a great communicator. And as an added bonus my dog looked really happy being there. She normally is afraid of groomers and cries and tries sprinting out. I will definitely be booking again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jaelyn did an amazing job grooming my dog Mia! I asked for a short cut because of the heat in Reno but wanted to keep her ears long — and she got it exactly right. Mia looks adorable and feels so much better. Super happy with the result. Highly recommend!

Edit: 5/5/25 I need to update my review. On his second or third visit to Pack City, something happened to Cooper. When I picked him up he was trembling and curled into a little ball in the car. He was ill at ease all day and night, extremely anxious. He peed right where he was laying twice during the night. In fact, he was so unusually upset and acting so strangely that I rushed him to the Vet. She found nothing wrong with him and felt he probably experienced a traumatizing event at the groomers. They seem like great people but perhaps something frightened him, I don’t know. I did decide to start going to a different groomer just in case Pack City held some frightening or traumatic memories for him and he’s been fine ever since.
