The Big City Woof Walker

We had an amazing experience with BCWW in Chicago! Bella walked our golden retriever several times a week for months which was so helpful as I was postpartum and my husband was back at work. She was able to let herself in and out, took the best care of our dog with the cutest updates from their walks and we trusted her fully. She’s the best! Would highly recommend BCWW and Bella!!

Where do I begin but to say how lucky we are to have been paired with Renee to look after our 8-year-old dog, Poe. Our regular dog walker stopped doing overnight stays a few years ago, so my husband and I have had to coordinate trips carefully. A friend recommended Big City Woof, and after hearing such great things, I decided to give them a try even though I am extremely selective about who looks after Poe as he can be tricky. Poe is a fantastic dog but he’s strong and can be reactive toward certain other dogs. He needs someone who understands dog behavior and can stay calm, confident, and in control. Big City Woof has been a godsend for my pup and I in Chicago! I work in the office 5 days a week and it’s so important that my dog gets physical and mental stimulation while I’m away. Our Pet Pro Bella is incredible and does a great job of keeping my dog safe and happy while on walks. I feel confident knowing my dog is taken care of while I’m at work and I love how easy the app is to communicate updates. So glad I found BCW!

I used BCWW for the last year and a half and they were great. I have two dogs — one of which can be leash reactive towards other dogs and small children. Given this, I have a really hard time trusting anyone to walk him but BCWW assured me that they were up for the job and I am so grateful that we were connected with Katie. She is an excellent and attentive walker, and I actually think she has a calming effect on my dogs. She's incredibly gentle and loving with them, and on both their birthdays she sent me videos of her singing happy birthday to them while they sat happily on their favorite bench. My dog Leroy has show huge strides in his reactivity towards other dogs from working with Maren and the team at Big City Woof! In addition to their one on one sessions, Maren has met with us multiple times during the process to make sure the plan fit our needs/expectations and help train us to be a better companion on our walks with Leroy. We've also had a great experience with using Big City Woof's Regular walking service in lieu of Daycare. The walks provide great socialization and exercise for Leroy and are a great alternative to him going to daycare. The team provides clear updates each time as well as some fun pictures from their walks to look at while I'm at the office! Highly recommend this amazing company!
