The Bark Spot

We’ve been taking our dog, Dexter, to The Bark Spot since he was a puppy, so this review is disappointing to write but feels necessary. While Dexter did come home clean and trimmed, the quality of his groom this visit was well below what we’ve consistently experienced here in the past. First, there is a very noticeable issue around his nose. There’s an obvious spot where almost all of the fur is gone and it’s essentially just skin. We’ve never asked for his face to be shaved or trimmed that closely, and it’s especially noticeable because the rest of his body is only trimmed to a moderate length. On top of that, the underside of his ears was missed entirely and is still quite shaggy, which makes the overall groom look uneven and a bit lopsided. Second, we paid extra to have his nails dre

We loved Lexie! She was so cute with Yolly and he was groomed well. The building was clean and felt great. The receptionists were excited and sweet to our pup! He gets pretty excited when he meets people ( sometimes a little much) . And he loves Lexie!I loved the report card afterwards. It was adorable.

I hadn't taken my dog, Gizmo, into a groomer for quite a while because I was either disappointed with the cut he received or a couple if times he got injured and both my little Gizmo and I were not comfortable returning. Plus some of the grooming facilities were getting too expensive and wanted a commitment of every eight/ten for their service. Decided to give the Bark Spot a try as I have several neighbors that take their dogs there. Couldn't be happier with the results. Gizmo looks great and is enjoying his new cut, not the usual down to the skin shave. (Still needs to go to his vet to have a good teeth cleaning)

Excellent job with our husky and mini Aussie! They have been very thorough with whichever service our pups have needed, from bath and brush to nail trim or de-shed. Always welcoming when we arrive and a sweet report card after our visit. One word of warning: if you like your fur babies to be unscented, please note each time you go in for bathing. Otherwise they might end up smelling better than you! ;-D

These guys are AMAZING. They groomed my extremely large puppy, he was nervous but they did their best to let him see it wasn’t scary. He is white and likes to play in the mud. You would never tell he was a filthy mess just hours before that. 100% would recommend. Seem very knowledgeable and helped me with deshedding as well!
