The Bark Shack

I had an appointment today for my dogs to be de-shedded. When I called to confirm they said it was for just a bath and they couldn’t de-shed today. Wanted to reschedule for 2 weeks from now. When I asked for a quote for the de-shed they would not even give me a ball park for pricing. They were rude on the phone and made no effort to help me. I have heard the same thing about them from my neighbors as well!

We board our dog Waylon here when we go on any vacations or overnight trips. I never have to worry about him while we’re gone because I know he is also on vacation! He has the best time playing all day with other dogs. I love the fact that they did a personality/temperament test before his initial stay so they can place him with other dogs that have the same temperament. He sleeps for days when we pick him up! ❤️

I love love love LOVEEE the bark shack!! I board my baby here whenever I’m traveling and trust them with his life! Great people, amazing and caring staff. My baby can be a bit difficult at times but the bark shack makes life so much easier. They treat us like family and they barely know us. We are forever grateful!

My dogs have been seeing Karen at the Bark Shack for over eight years. They have used the doggy daycare, which is fantastic, and my Springer Spaniel has been groomed by Karen and her staff. He actually loves to be groomed and will fall asleep when brushed by anyone. :-) Karen stays at my house when I am out of town so the dogs have someone with them at night. To relate just one story of how awesome Karen is, my Springer is 13 now and we were out of town. Karen sent an early morning video and message that he had to go to the vet. Oh No! He is 13 is what I was thinking and the video showed symptoms of a stroke, seizure, or vertigo. We were vacationing in the area camping and just wanted to board our dogs a couple of days during our trip. We found this kennel around the corner from the campground. They were amazing communicating with us prior to our trip and our dogs who are usually nervous and rarely boarded, had a great time and seemed very comfortable when we picked them up. The facility is fantastic and all the employees we interacted with were super kind and helpful. I wish they were in my hometown!!
