Matt helped us with our COVID foster fail who lacked socialization in 2020. When we wanted to add a new puppy to our home this year I knew we HAD to consult with Matt. Matt gave the ABSOLUTELY best advice and training refresh during our consultation. I had spent days researching how to introduce dogs and it didn’t even come close to the information received in an hour session with Matt. Chance went from anti social territorial first encounter with his new little sister to an even calmer dog than we had before. We were really nervous to add a new puppy with our 12 year old dog and could not have done it without Matt’s help.

I have trusted 2 Great Dane puppies with Matt and his team. Great Danes are notoriously hard headed and can be difficult if not trained and socialized properly. Matt taught them how to be gentlemen on the leash and behave in public. Because of The Balanced Canine these boys are regulars at tennis tournaments and people always comment on how well behaved they are! Not only are these fabulous dog trainers but also amazing human beings! All of our future pups will go to The Balanced Canine!!

Ive had the opportunity to do two complete packages 3 months apart with Matt and Braylee of Balanced Canine. I’ve done training at their facility numerous times and they’ve also come to my property to assist me with behaviors specific to our daily living with chickens and acres of free roaming space which I learned can create its own issues. Absolute professionals with the perfect balance of down-home caring. Their respect for their human clients and love for their canine clients shines through as they teach us humans how to create the best healthy environments and behaviors for ourselves and our dogs!

We had the BEST experience using Matt and his team in training our sheepadoodle, Cappie. We continue to lean on Matt for expert advice from time to time, as well. We also brought another sheepadoodle into our pack, a re-home from another client of Matt’s. Such an amazing experience when your trusted trainer knows you and your dog, and who will and won’t be a “good fit” together. We cannot thank them enough! Max & Cappie both love Matt, and we never worry when our “doods” are in their care.
