Sunshine Animal Hospital

We've been coming to Sunshine since my sweet boy was only 8 weeks old (now 5.5 yrs) and we've always been cared for with the most attention and kindness. I love coming here and always recommend it. We recently got his first deep dental clean and everything looks awesome! Dolce came out same day with no issues and pearly whites! 10/10 service and care every time.

Each of my 5 pets has received great care here. It is clear that the staff really cares about the animals they see. I have never felt rushed through an appointment and always get clear explanations (to the extent possible) on the various issues my pets are encountering. Dr. Cavadel is just the best (she always remembers what is going on with my many animals and is very efficient/organized in terms of managing prescriptions, following up on lab results, etc.). I've been to a few other vets in the area and my experience at Sunshine is far above the rest.

There’s something fishy about the reviews on this place, all the recent ones were “edited” after the fact, and the unedited 5-star reviews were several years ago when they seemed to have had an original owner/vet. I was fairly pleased with initial visit here. Unfortunately the staff were afraid of my very sweet family dog, which has never happened before, and eventually warmed up to her. The vet did a good job, ran labs, etc but did not follow up as they said they would. When I got someone to call me about test results it was a totally different vet. The cost was high, I’ve had the same work done elsewhere (exam, consult, labs) for about 75% of Sunshine’s cost. The office staff is a little snooty. The waiting room layout is an extremely small box which cramps you up against other pets. T

Since my last review, my beloved Yumi has died 😪. It has been five months and during that time the personnel of Sunshine Animal Hospital have been so very understanding. They presented me with a memory collection of keepsakes of Yumi along with their condolences. They understood my loss. I now have a three-month old kitten, Itztli. I have taken him to Sunshine for his kitten examination/shots, etc. Everyone warmly welcomed us back. It felt like we were returning to family. They may be a bit more expensive than other locations, but they (& your pet) are worth it! The personnel at Sunshine Animal Hospital are wonderful! I was so worried about my cat who has been sick & I didn't know how to help him. My cat is very shy & afraid of everyone except me. The staff was very understanding & profe

These people were so nice to my reactive dog and me. My dog tried to bite the vet but was muzzled. The vet just kept going like the cool character she is. She spent a nice, long time with us going over options in detail and with good judgment. The visit was exceptionally inexpensive with a $50 first-time discount applied.
