Dr Jacobson went above and beyond our expectations. This was our cat's first visit to the animal hospital and prior to us arriving they pulled all her records and reviewed them to be prepared for her appt. Dr. Jacobson spent so much time talking us through and thinking through options to improve our cat's quality of life and ailments. Later that night, on a Saturday night, Dr. Jacobson emailed me that she had done further research and had additional ideas. I have full confidence that Dr. Jacobson not only cares deeply for those 4 legged patients she treats but takes her role as caregiver very serious. All the doctors I have dealt with over the past 15 months with Jack's pneumonia, back surgery, GI shutdown, Cushing, and skin infections have been wonderful. The emergency doctor Dr. Largeheart, who worked on the Vetoryl research many years ago was amazing. Dr. Nguyen as Jack's regular vet is superb. He spent the time with me last week to answer my questions and help me understand what more I can be doing to support Jack's health. I am so impressed. The only concern is Jack came home with abrasions on his ankles and feet after his 3-day stay. I assume due to the metal crate grid floor and his mobility issues. But you saved his life! Thank you.

I’ve been bringing my dog to Columbia Pike Animal Hospital for years now, and they’ve always consistently taken great care of my pets. I recently came in for an ear infection for my dog and Wally was there to help me. You can tell he really understands animals and knows how to make them feel comfortable because my dog hates the vet but he made it easy for my dog. He was very attentive and patient and explained what they were checking for in a way that was easy for me to understand. A big thank you as well to Dr. Smiley for always being thorough and reassuring. I never feel rushed during appointments, and I always leave feeling confident about the treatment plan.

Dr. Nguyen is an outstanding veterinarian and surgeon! My dog recently needed a surgery due to her torn cruciate ligament, he performed a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery and she has been doing so well. The pricing of the surgery was also very reasonable, even significantly cheaper than what I was quoted at a local non-profit vet. He also did her other knee 6 years ago and it has been holding up great. If your dog has any joint problems, I can't recommend Dr. Nguyen enough. He's skilled, straightforward, and truly cares about the animals. Thank you, Dr. Nguyen!

My two kittens were spayed last week, and the whole process, from start to finish was great! Folks on the phone, acknowledging emailed medical records, front desk intake, and ensuring I knew post op instructions. My kitties didn't obey them, but I had enough "calming" medicine to keep them calmer for a few days (and I was home with them). Very impressed with the people and location. I'm grateful for the good care they gave my kittens.
