Sun Ranch Pet Hospital: RIKIA PARK DVM

Dr. Park has been very competently caring for my long-haired black cat, Raven, and my ginger cat, Buddy for 13/8 years now. She is so perceptive and wise and I trust her. She has a great sense of humor and is very patient. Both cats have had either surgeries or teeth cleaning, and she saved Buddy's life when he ate half of an Advil gel capsule that fell out of my pocket. Buddy and Raven are my family and she respects that and is so gentle and kind to each. I am very grateful to her and her excellent staff, including Trisha and Carol. Feeling grateful.

This amazing staff handle the neuter of my lil boy deacon. He is very anxious when away from me but these amazing people were able to calm him and took such good care of him. I had more questions after leaving so I called and carina was very helpful with guiding me. Lil bit of a drive for us but I will 100% bring all my babies here from now on !!!!! 5 stars is not enough!!

We initially came to sun ranch bc my coworker recommended them and my rat needed to be put down. They were super sweet to us and even though we were emotional they did not rush us when it came time to do it. We had a good experience with them so we booked a checkup appointment for my dog who is reactive but making a LOT of progress (still worry though). We brought him in and they were so good with him. He had nothing but a positive learning experience and they were very helpful and reassuring. This is our new home vet:)

Their communication is very poor. They don't explain things well nor do they advise on the different dangers a pet may be in to the customer. It appears that they just assume that the pet owners should know something already just because they (the professionals) know it. For example had the Vet warned me that the medication they gave my cat for diarrhea could suppress his appetite I would have been on the lookout for that. Had she warned me of the danger of my cat not eating for several days (an after effect of the medication) he probably wouldn't have developed liver disease and might still be with me today. To top it off they charged me an arm and a leg to euthanize my baby after their terrible communication and care directly led to his condition in the first place. I now use a different

PLEASE READ MY REVIEW ITS IMPORTANT IF YOU RECENTLY ADOPTED A FEMALE PET!! 🚨 I'm not trying to tear this clinic down or anything but I want other pet owners to be aware. I adopted a dog about a week ago and she had her spay appointment on Tuesday. When she went in they did an exam on her and found out that she was pregnant. They proceded to do her spay and didn't have any courtesy to call me and let me know of her pregnancy until after the procedure. It's really been bothering me, I would have waited and let her have her puppies if I had know. And when I asked how far along she was they said she was heavily pregnant. So be warned that if you recently adopted a dog/cat that they don't have a pregnancy I don't want for this to happen to anyone else or their fur babies. Aside from communicati
