Suburban Animal Hospital

We have followed Dr. Jennifer Boehmer to three veterinary practices now. She is the only one we would have treat our pets. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and realistic. She does not order unnecessary tests and does her homework prior to appointments. There is no better vet in the Rochester area. The staff is personable and responsive to client needs and do their best to anticipate the client's needs. They truly love the clients.

I brought my bunny, Reid, in for a new patient appointment and yearly physical. Dr Howard was AMAZING. Very knowledgeable and checked every nook and cranny on Reid’s body. He talked through each step as he did it, and explained what he was looking for. The tech was also amazing! The front desk staff was friendly, and got us into a room straight away, which I appreciated since it’s best to limit stressful situations for bunnies. I look forward to bringing Reid back for future appointments, and if you have a small/exotic furry friend BRING THEM HERE!!! A picture below of the happy customer!

We brought our bearded dragon in for her first wellness visit. Dr. Howard was wonderful. He explained everything. He even let us listen to her heartbeat. We didn’t feel rushed. He thoroughly answered all our questions. It’s hard finding a vet for exotic animals. I’m thankful that he was available.

The doctors and staff are wonderful. My dog is very stubborn and set in her ways and is a 14 + Corgi German shepherd mix. We rescued her 13 years ago and she’s literally afraid of everything. She’s a great dog, never does anything wrong but she can be difficult so I appreciate the extra care that she is given at Suburban Animal Hospital.

Excellent service from veterinarian/all staff. They were sensitive, caring, professional and competent. My dog appeared to be at ease with Dr Howard. I appreciated the thoroughness of his exam and his explanation of everything he was doing. The environment was clean, orderly, and quiet.
