Suburban Animal Clinic

The staff at this vet hospital are amazing. They truly love and care for animals. It was so nice to get a email from the Dr regarding my dogs lab results. The email was detailed but easy for me to understand as a non medical guy. I also really like that this hospital is privately owned and not a corporate hospital.

I absolutely love this office! Dr. Firestine is the best and takes the time to get to know your pet and you aren't treated as just "a patient." Dr. Firestine takes her time, explain reasoning behind what she is recommending and doesn't push unnecessary things. The techs are wonderful and caring and my big dog has gone from hiding under chairs, or at least trying to, to giving the techs and Dr. Firestine little kisses. We are at the office every 3 weeks for this arthritis shot and he's treated like a celebrity. I've never had a problem getting an appointment when Persy had needed one. I always refer people to them when someone is looking for a new vet.

If I could give this vet office 100 out of 5 stars, I would. After calling a few local vets to help my chicken who was very lethargic and not acting like herself anymore, I came across Suburban Animal Clinic and they were kind and welcoming from our very first conversation on the phone. I took my girl "Big Red" in to be assessed and even though my fears of her time coming to an end came true, all the people who worked at this office were astoundingly compassionate, respectful, and kind. I get horrible anxiety going to the vet for any reason at all, and this staff was just so loving and comforting. I know some people out there may think "it's just a chicken"... but she was a beloved pet and it gave me great comfort knowing she could finally pass on peacefully and comfortably. About a week

Dr. Firestein (cool name right?) and Sarah welcomed my new pup with open arms literally. Even though my little gear was scared shitless they got her calmed down in no time, actually physically examined her (unlike another vet close by) and gave me great advice since it has been awhile since I had a puppy. I was pleased enough with there attentive service and attention to detail that I transferred my adult dogs records to Suburban Animal Clinic so he can enjoy being tended to by these ladies.

The best vet I have ever seen for my pup! Honestly I could cry just talking about them!! The staff is 100% the best part of the experience. The vets and vet techs absolutely love their job and strive to find results! After a HORRIBLE experience at another vet in the area, I was referred to them, I will refer them to ANYONE!!
