Steininger's Dog Wash

This was awesome. Thank you for providing this private room with lockable door and dog washing station. 10/10 recommend to anyone who thinks they want to try it. My Nervous-Nelly-German-Shepherd is difficult to handle in a home shower without a spray nozzle and a bathtub is fun until it’s not. The groomers are always booked weeks out and I usually wait but Mozzy got into something stinky and he wasn’t going to be happy sleeping in a room alone. If you know anything about GSDs, if the shepherd isn’t happy, no one sleeps.

Great location. They provide towels and a built in blow dryer that works really well. The wash machine provides settings for shampoo and flea shampoo and rinse. Pretty much everything you need is already there and it is a great price for what you get.

Very nice Dog Wash. I like that you're able to lock the door to prevent any mishaps. They have aprons to keep you dry. They were out of towels to dry off dogs, but the air dryer worked great. Honestly, it's Sunday, and it's nice to see it being used this much. It would be nice to have one in Sunbury. 😉 I don't know if the wash bed rises to make it easier on a person's back. I didn't read much while there.

Just tried this out for the first time just minutes ago… Ummm, this is such a cute setup. It’s pretty dang clean for it being an area your pet will get wet. My first dog was able to be bathed in well under 10 minutes but she doesn’t fight me as we do showers and blow dries at home too. This thing is cool! I love it. 😍

I was here once before and was mostly satisfied, BUT the time should stop so I am able to scrub my dog while I am not actually using water. Also the disinfectant should be free if you want it used. I assumed it was so the tub could be cleaned after use. Then I was there this evening, the credit card machine wasn't working, I only had $20's on me, and the machine said 1's, 5's and 10's even though i know I would end up using $20 easily (due to time not stopping mentioned above), went to the laundry mat and can only get quarters for change and the dog wash doesnt take quarters. Went to the atm across the street and refused to do 2 - $10 transactions with a $4/each fee, so I ended up wasting 40min driving down and back and another 15-20min trying to get the machine to work/get change.
