I want to share my experience at Steel Veterinary Services and Dr. Bob. After weeks of watching my dog get worse, we finally came here for a second opinion and it truly saved my dog’s life. Another veterinarian in town had misdiagnosed the problem and continued treating my dog with gabapentin and arthritis medications, which unfortunately almost led to devastating consequences for his kidneys. Dr. Bob was able to quickly recognize that something wasn’t right and promptly diagnosed Lyme disease. His knowledge, attention to detail, and sense of urgency made all the difference. He took the time to explain what was happening, why the previous treatment wasn’t helping, and what needed to be done moving forward. We took our cat in for vaccines and a wellness exam and had such a great experience. Dr. H is knowledgeable, kind, and truly cares about the animals. Mila is amazing, and honestly, I think my cat loves coming to Steel Vet because he loves her so much. She’s so gentle and sweet with him, and it really shows. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes every visit feel easy and stress-free. We’re so lucky to have such an incredible veterinary team, the best around.

I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. Finding out my dog had Cushing’s was scary, but the doctors were amazing from the very beginning. They took the time to really figure out what was going on and explained everything in a way that made sense. Because of them, my dog is feeling so much better and is finally back to his old self again, which means everything to me. The staff is truly wonderful. Everyone is kind, caring, and treats your pet like their own. You can feel how much they genuinely care the moment you walk in. I’m beyond grateful for the care my dog received and wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. Thank you so much Dr. Bob, Dr. Hormer and Staff, you guys are awesome. ❤️

My dog recently had a dental procedure done here, and I am beyond happy with the results. The difference is truly amazing , my dog feels so much better and is acting like a brand new puppy again. The doctor was incredible, explained everything at the appointment prior to the procedure and took such great care of my dog, most importantly they were helpful managing his pain. The staff was kind, attentive, and truly cared. It means everything to see my dog feeling happy, comfortable, and full of energy again. I’m so grateful for everything you guys have done, thank you for helping my dog. And I highly recommend them to anyone considering dental care for their pets.

My husband and I brought our kitty in for a check up this week and had such a positive experience with Dr. Bob and the whole staff. He introduced us to medial shots for steroids and antibiotic care versus oral medications that stress felines and pet parents out. He was very compassionate to our cat Leo and explained everything with great detail. He even already has a back up care plan for him. We are so pleased with our experience and we can’t wait to continue our care with Steel Veterinary.
