State Street Animal Hospital

We were there for 2 shots and an annual exam for our orange and white domesticated medium hair cat, Fenyx. They were so good with Fenyx, who was playing dead and trying to hide his face in the blanket. They spoke softly and handled him gently. Advised us we should get a certain food to help get tartar build up off his teeth, which he absolutely loved from the first bite. The Dr. told us she doesn't sell the food at the clinic because she can't get it or sell it as cheap as Petco can and she doesn't want to overcharge her patient's families. I really respect that. The appointment was great and we will return to State Street Animal Hospital whenever needed for pet care, as well as recommend to anyone who is looking for a compassionate and caring vet who will put the needs of your pet and yo

As always, we had the best experience from start to finish. The front staff/techs are friendly and welcoming. Our tech (I forgot her name, I'm sorry!) was very thorough when inquiring about what had been going on with our dog. I noticed how gentle she was with Penne when she needed her ear swabbed. This is so important to me as a pet parent. We ultimately needed to take home medication, our Tech gave clear instructions and even explained it a second time because, well...mommy brain. We saw Dr. Ferderbar for the first time, and we were SO IMPRESSED. As patients of Dr. Gwen, we have already been so spoiled being under her care. It is comforting to have seen a second provider from the practice offer the same excellent level of care. I truly can not speak highly enough of this practice! Love,

She greets you with the kind of smile that instantly puts your heart at ease, even when you’re walking in with heavy concerns. Honestly our experience was amazing!! All staff was understanding even when I was late for our appointment because one of the kitties was hiding VERY WELL! Thanks for making a stressful situation better for our family! With our new addition of a puppy, the staff is ALWAYS able to answer questions. And our pup loves going there! She walks in with no problem even with all the !st shots she has been given so far! Thanks to all the staff that have ALWAYS taken great care of all the animals I have brought in!
