We love SRAH. I grew up taking my pets there, and now I take my own there. Dr. Reeves is outstanding. He is so compassionate and really gets to know his patients. He is always thorough and you can tell he truly cares. We haven’t seen Dr. Brown as much but every time I have, he has been exceptional also. We recently got acquainted with Dr. Longstreet towards the end of our dog, Penny’s, liver disease battle. We had to make the difficult decision to euthanize, and her and the vet tech were just amazing. During such an emotional experience, they did everything to make it the best they could. We are so grateful to them.

This was my first visit to this vet’s office after switching from another clinic, and I couldn’t be happier. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. They showed our 17 week old Border Collie puppy so much love and treated her with such great care. I also felt the pricing was very fair. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I’m so glad we made the switch.

Went in because my dog had a lump on his chest that was growing, as well as a limp that had developed in his shoulder after playing or running. They took amazing care of my baby, my dog is like my son, and I want him in the best hands possible. The doctor sat right on the floor with him to help him calm down, and it worked great. They allowed me to do what I know works best for my dog, handling him as much as I could unless they had to help for things like his temperature, taking his weight, all of that. Doc was very quick and informative, and made sure I wasn't spending money unnecessarily! We got the cheapest test done, and it was fast too, maybe ten minutes. Very important as a dog parent. I highly recommend State Road Animal Hospital over any other vet in the area! They have truly gone above and beyond for my pets. I decided to switch vets because my previous one wasn’t giving my babies the care they deserved, and I’m so glad I did. When I first came, they carefully reviewed my pets’ records and noticed they were overdue for several vaccines. They immediately let me know, and we were able to get everything taken care of. Since then, I’ve had two emergencies with one of my dogs, and both times they were incredibly gracious and worked us in right away. Most recently, my dog was attacked by another dog. They saw us quickly, examined her thoroughly, and reassured me that—thankfully—it looked worse than it actually was. The vet explained that she was very lucky and didn’t need

I have a senior schnauzer who is showing her age. The vet took the time to explain all that was going on with her, gave me options for treatment and offered phone F/U to make sure things were going OK. I couldn’t find her food on the prescription site and they researched to let me know it was on back order and no one had it in stock. They had stopped what they were doing to look for me.
